I was encouraged to read a book of the Bible as a study challenge in early 2020.  I've grown up in the church with wonderful examples of Bible experts (two generations of pastors) but I don't think that I had ever actually sat down and read a book of the Bible straight through before. I chose Genesis (cause if you don't know where to start, start at the beginning, right) and my mind has been blown ever since.

Building Foundations with KFerg is an online collection of my study notes as I journey through the Word of God.  I hope they inspire and motivate you to want to push yourself to having a deeper relationship with God. Jesus tells us in Matthew 7:24,25 (NLT) "Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock."  Just like every building needs a solid foundation to stand on, our souls need the wisdom that comes from the Bible in order to stay strong, refreshed and encouraged.  Read on and enjoy!
